Measure the gap (opening) between the posts or pillars

The height is from the floor to top of gate, with the top hinges, always allow 100mm above the gate to allow for the top hinge.

Curved top gates

On pedestrian gates the curve will have a rise of 100mm for gates 750mm - 899mm opening

Pedestrian gates between 900mm - 1500mm opening will have 150mm rise on the curve

Main double gates have a curve of 150mm rise

Bow toped pedestrian gates have a 50mm rise from 750mm - 1500mm opening

Bow top main gates have a 200mm rise
